What time should we start for the Gates of Heaven?
Pickup around 2:30–3:00 AM from the south. You arrive at Lempuyang near sunrise, before the tour buses — that is the only way to get the empty-pavement shots.
Can we do Lempuyang, Handara and the swing in one day?
Yes — that is exactly the classic east-loop photo run. It is a long but rewarding day; the driver plans the order to minimise queues.
Are the drivers good photographers too?
They know every angle and mirror-puddle trick at the famous spots — most will happily take the photo so the whole group is in it.
